I had a case where the car was difficult to start sporadically and then would conk out after some rough running and had a whining fuel pump. Pump replaced (twice), fuel filter mod done per some technical bulletin and finally injector seals done and it was all good from there. The techs simply worked their way forward from the fuel tank.

It's booked in to have the copper washers done Monday week. Can't drive it till then anywat until the fuel pump turns up from the UK!
