M & S lights flashing on D2 after axle change

    Hi all,

I've just swapped out my standard axles for Hi-toughs. I think I did the job pretty carefully... aside from a little brute strength required to remove the rear axle stake nuts.
Now I have the M and S lights flashing... have I stuffed something up?

Gear selection is fine and it drove the 2m test in 1st and reverse fine...

Did you have the radio on or doors open whilst you worked?

Your battery is probably low (or failing)...

    Give it a good charge

Thanks I had read that but seems so strange! Hopefully it works.

The D2 hasn't been driven in a few weeks so the main battery is very low (10.8v), secondary battery still has 12.8v tho. It's on charge now so will see how it goes tomorrow.

Ditto for battery voltages, try disconnecting and charging the battery fully.
