Mine is running 265/75R16 Summit Mud Hogs which came with the car. They rub. I don't think its much, judging by how much the turning circle is affected.
Brilliant off road, but howl like a banshee on the road.
Looking at a set of General Grabbers ATs for the daily grind/everything that isn't mud.

Therein lies the rub (another bad pun). There have been plenty of posts re rubbing (or not) on 7 x 16 inch LR rims with standard suspension, but I don't recall any definitive yes/no for the largest NOT RUBBING size for LR 8 x 16 inch rims (I have the 6 spoke (P38?) version that came with some of the runout MY 2004 D2a Country Classics).Quote:

I think a lot has to do with the brand and pattern of the tyre.
The Procomps seem to have a fairly narrow tread section for a 265 and don't have aggressive side lugs, which I'm guessing is why I've gotten away with it. Something like the Bridgestone muds or MTR's that I used to run on my D1's I suspect would rub due to the more square profile and side lugs.
