Good one mate. Hope the weather gods are kind.
Gday all.
Happy to say that we are on holidays! We are at Hastings point on the NSW north coast. This is our second big trip away with the van in tow and the trip was very good. You realy learn to drive by the boost gauge and the pyro. The Disco performed like a trooper sitting on 85 to 95 km/h and used just under 1/2 a tank to get to Coffs Harbour. I even (safely) over took a few vans of comparable size being towed by new Pajeros and Playdo's. The conditions were at times preaty bad with the condition of the pacific highway and the pouring rain making it a challenging drive. Using the boost and the pyro really keeps the TD5 ticking along nicely and safely. Our van is a Retreat Daydream family van and its ATM is 2581kg so it is no shrinking violet. There were no "oh ****" moments at all and my Disco has impressed me yet again. All the modifications have paid for themselves as far as I am concerned. Any way, I'm going to have a beer.
Regards
Robbo.

G'day all. Weather great! Some more Disco's turned up this weekend (being a long weekend in Queensland). A D3 HSE V8 towing a 20ft van, a D3 V6 with a camper, a D4 in a cabin and a D1 tdi with a 20 ft van!
Having a great time, went out through Mullimbimbi to see the Natural arch and did a round trip up to Nerang and back down through the Gold Coast to have lunch at Sizzler. What a top day in gods own. I even caught a nice Flathead for dinner on Thursday.
Regards
Robbo
