Question Nanocom Evo - getting the map file from my TD5?

I need to get the map file that is currently uploaded to the ECU in my D2a TD5 off and e-mail it to TD5Inside for some adjustments and modifications. Anyone know if I can do this with my Nanocom Evo? If so, would anyone be able to give me brief directions?

Absolutely. Use the TD5 Map function then Read Map From ECU. You'll need to have an SD Card inserted into the Evo to be able to do this.

Should the vehicle be on or off for this (i.e. the key to ignition or accessories or off)?
    Should the engine be running?

I did it with the engine on and it failed half way through, so I tried again with the ignition on and engine off and it worked.
