Thread: Dash Mats for D2

Coopers in Sydney stock a tailor made version, or at least they did awhile ago.

Made by Dept of the Interior in Carlton Sydney

Just bought one off ebay for the Disco and for one of my other cars. $50 each + delivery. Can't remember which seller as it was nearly three years ago, but several sellers have them listed, as of this morning. The quality of the items is comparable, so I didn't care who I bought it off.

The dash squeeks when the sun shines on it!
Tried supercheap, autobarn etc, no luck...

Garyclwd is a LR parts distributor based in Sydney and has the dash mats you need. He's a great guy to deal with.

BTW....check to see if the passenger air-bag (Accessed through the glove box) hasn't loosened from its mounts. You'll need a torx drive to tighten it and the squeek will stop.

I had the same problem and nearly pulled the complete dash apart looking for that f***ing squeeking that was driving me mad. I was almost at my wits end and was at the point of spraying WD40 between the dash and the airbag to try and stop the horrible squeek.......until I tightened the torx bolts and the squeeking stopped....Ah Bliss
