Had exactly the same with my 90. Going around a roundabout and suddenly lost all steering. Ended up upside down in a ditch. All because some idiot truck driver had overfilled his tank and it had spilt on the roundabout.

[QUOTE=Catmatt;1703818]Can't agree more with you!!!! Pulled up to a set of lights not all that long ago and lost the front end of my bike and down I went (Unhurt but ego and plastics took a battering).

    - in the middle of the lane 5 odd metres from the traffic lights was a small pool of ATF....now spread further by my front wheel

Have to say that I always pull into either tyre track on the road on my bike because of this at lights. This way you generally avoid the oily bits. Never stop in the middle!

Nah, can't match The road builders at the entrance ramp to the harbour bridge from Military Road .

Dug across the road right on the curve , then covered it with sheets of steel with no pattern at all.

Was quite a surprise on a wet morning going to work on my Honda. I reckon the seat got an extra crease .

    C'mon, somone poke Dave again.
I want to see his 'Fire for effect'!

My 2c: I went the DIY route to replace 1 bolt in the bellhousing. Only other box I've done was a Sigma 10yrs ago.
    Bit of a difference!
In between work, being extra careful and checking, rechecking, little stuff ups and correcting the RAVE manual. it was a month off the road. Even ably assisted by Trog (thanks again Mate) and Dave on the Phone, It was an ordeal.

Go for it if you have done it before, have a mate who's done it before, have a big trolley jack and Geabox holder (if nothing else).
a week in when I was getting parts, I got a quote from MR Auto, R&R $1000. Face- Palm

    Pros and cons.
    Good luck, Dave.

funny about that... The current version of RAVE on topix is something like 3 or 4 revisions newer than the final cd version from 2002.
