    S/S coolant/heater hoses

    Hi All,

    A mate of mine and I were a bit bored yesterday and had our heads under the bonnet of my D2a. I was pointing out the top radiator hose, and how the heater hose which runs along the firewall behind the engine which comes off it, rubs on the A/C pipes.

    He suggested he knock up a stainless steel top hose, with bleed screw, and re-position where that heater hose joins the top radiator hose, away from the A/C unit, and replace the heater hose running around the firewall with a stainless one.

    Cost is not an issue as there won't be any.

    Any thoughts?

    Pics will be posted once the hose is made.

    Good idea but it might be best if he makes 2 sets and you send the other set to me for a 2nd opinion .

    To move the location of where the heater hose branches off the top hose away from the A/C pipes.
