SLS warning light after coil conversion

    G'day,
any ideas how I get rid of the SLS warning light now I've converted to coils? (2000 td5 auto). I've hidden it with a bit of electrical tape for the moment, but I'm looking for a more permanent solution.
    Cheers,
    Alex

Did you reprogram the system that you no longer have airbags?
do it with Haweye or Nanocom change suspension form coil to air suspension or other way around.
With coils your air pump is probably thinking WTF is going on as it picks up signals from the sensors.

Anyone in SW Sydney with a nanocom willing to waste a bit of their weekend to help me out?

    Pull the fuse?

I read another thread that just suggested that you pull the fuse. I don't know if this will achieve what you are looking for. IIRC, it may have been to do with using coils on difficult trips and returning it to SLS for other driving.

I tried pulling both the fuse & the relay (in the underbonnet fusebox) and it didn't help

Mine has fuse FL9 (larger links) removed (eng compartment fuse box) but not the relay R5. Sometimes level warning light comes on if car loaded to max but goes away when not.

Car usually has a decent load on board as I use it for work, but I've stripped all the SLS system including the sensors so I'm not sure this would still be relevant (loaded I've lost 20mm from where the SLS held the rear suspension).
