Also Rave tells me to tighten from the inside out, could I get away with just doing from the middle to the fire wall? Or can I just do the one that is loose?

Hi All.
how long since you checked your manifold Nuts?
Caught this one in time.
After doing the manifold gasket 18 months or more ago I thought I best check it,\ before a trip Form Port Macquarie to Geelong. took the now cracked heat shield off and there you go, end manifold Nut is finger tight. Stud not broken but nearly lost the Nut. I am hoping to get away with re-torque the nuts. Should I do this in the morning when it is cold or now when warm?
Cheers

I would not 'retorque' them, they beak easy enough on their own, just nip them up tight.
only retorque them a few hundred klm after fitting all new studs and gasket.
thanks from what i can tell rave disc said 24nm so not that tight to start with. im doing it now so it is cold. Frosty even. 5 degrees in port. well almost frosty
cheers

3 were loose.
Hopefully that holds things together.
Cheers
