Disco 2000 TD5 auto won't start…….The next episode
Would you believe the sun is shining so it makes having a disco more bearable ………… Finally got to do a little work to sort things out………….Fuel filter at pump base is not blocked….Tried a known pump and vehicle eventually started …….Had some readings taken as follows
ENG 01-07 current: vac mod short crct SLABS 14-01 no batt sply vltg Int- 014 times
G BOX P1884- CAN msg md_ind invalid Flag f tl mes
AIRBAG PSNGR open crct Intermittent ACE 03-04 Pess control valve fault Ll
Is there some one who can help with deciphering them,,, any assistance would be appreciated
After mate with Nannocom left and I tried restarting engine noticed that Two green lights on dash flash continuously while vehicle is running and in gear…. Tried restarting on Sunday but to no avail…Crank speed was OK Just would not fire up………..Decided to leave battery on charge Sunday evening unhooked this morning and would you know just a touch of the key and instant life under the bonnet…and No flashing M&S..Seems as though the glow plugs do not operate when the battery is a tad low…… Next is the injector seals along with Leaking exhaust manifold…Oh happy days….

When battery is causing issues LOTS of things go funny...
M&S lights flashing, and charging requirement indicate a battery / alternator issue...
If the alternator is OK (test it) then get a new battery asap....
If you dont, you'll be buying one at an inopportune moment
