Hi all,
My D2 has some issues. She is about to have a heart transplant with a TRS 4.6 long motor. It will be built with a mildly over spec hydraulic cam, top hat liners, composite head gasket and stud kit rather than head bolts. It will come with new timing set and oil pump. I dont see, nor do they, a need for head work and the same injectors, manifolding etc will work fine. I have a new water pump, clutch fan, radiator etc in there.
Is there anything else to specify? The stock balance is probably good enough.
It will come with a manifold with LPG injectors already inserted and vapour injection kit with converter.

Pedro back when I was mucking around with building warm (!) holden sixes I would have researched and specified a billeted cam with certain specs - not these days with these guys doing re-builds week in and week out. I told them what I use it for, including heavy towing and off road and leave it to them.

You are happy the injectors will supply enough fuel with the 4L fuel map?
I must admit I'm still not sure if the USA 4.6 maps are at all different.
