You can turn off some of the notifications. Have to look at the list.

The chimes at start up are the seat belt warning sound. It is six chimes and they are not connected to the seat belts at all. Other words, they will still go off even if you had your seat belt on.

They can be switched off through the Nanocom.

I'm glad they're not there. Took 4 hours for me to find instructions on disabling the warings on the wifes car the day I picked it up.

    1. Whats the CDL situation? If you're looking at using off road not sure if it'll be fitted.
    2. I'm 5'10" and have to curl up.
    3. I don't get chimes on start up. (unless the 3 amigoes go off)
    4. I might be interested in the seats.
Intent is to take those back seats out and try flog them off (though if you're interested and my application succeeds today perhaps that can be a solution, and if your determination is 'stay far away' then I could sling enough for a slab of something for your trouble) I won't be up there for a viewing unless I'm there to sign papers lol (though I will give it as thorough a look as I am capable of before I sign anything)

THen the back seats will spend a lot of their time folded forward whilst a dummy floor is made for the back to cover the gas tank (that isn't there yet) so when all set up therell be the space all the way from the back door up till the back of the front seats. I can see I will be missing the hydraulic step I used to have lol

Rather like this one on my first disco, only done better so the heights match up; THat was a short wheelbase '95 Rossignoli and set up like that I needed to lie diagonally to be comfortable. I'm guessing the longer bum on the D2, set up the same way, will give me enough room

ooh we are good to go... so if your offer still stands I'm all for it.
Wonder if I should try do the whole drive back in one hit (by time I catch bus to melbourne, than plane to Sydney, taxi across to Greenacre, and sign papers, it's likely to be 10 - 11am and a 10 hour drive home...

Wouldnt matter if i was trading my old 96 ford in but I'll be selling that privately later

I did a similar trip when I brought a shorty patrol. Flew up brought car. Left Lidcombe around lunch time. then legged it back to Bendigo.
