    Front prop shaft 3/8-24 bolts

Hey all,Just a quick one, I replaced my stock front shaft with a TW and had one stubborn bolt which I destroyed in my attempts to get it off. Ended up finally getting it off with wd40, a heat gun and a lot of elbow grease. Anyways I need to replace the nut and bolt and I found the dimensions (3/8-24) but was wondering if it as easy as heading to bunnings or if it's unique someway somehow. Thanks in advance guys

It would be a High Tensile Bolt

The nut and bolt would be high tensile steel. Go to a specialised bolt shop, or at least ensure you get one that is not mild steel. IIRC Bunnings / Repco/ Supercheap / Autobarn do sell some of high tensile in the small packs.

Don't buy genuine, one bolt/nut genuine is more than a set of HT from a supplier.

    what grade bolt?

Is grade 5 ok for prop shaft bolts or do I need to find grade 8?

Doing the rear shaft and need 1 3/4" for the transfer case flange.

    thanks
