You need to find out why they are coming on first.
You may be able to do option B if you have faulty shuttle valve wiring but it would be a silly place to start.
Get a Nanocom or similar to find out what the fault is.
Could be faulty shuttle valves or dry solder joints in the modulator, might be as simple as a wheel sensor needing seating.

    Hi JGarde,

Where are you located? I can read your fault codes to see what is causing your problem. Once you know what the issue is you can then plan your attack.

That would be the "Option B" as described in the Good Oil section on this site.

Is there a kit for Defender Puma 2007 on?

Having the same shuttle valve problem in my SVX Defender after a stick damaged a brake line and I had to clamp off the line until it could be repaired a few days later.

LR Australia have quoted me $5690.75 for a replacement modulator plus $750 labour to install it.

Does anyone know if there is a shuttle valve kit available for the Defender modulator: part no: SBR500550

I can't believe they want over $6,000 to fix an internal shuttle valve that's worth less than $50.

I fixed mine using option A - the hard part of either fix being getting the shuttle valve switches out IMO. I thought 'A' would just look a bit tidier and actually involved less soldering. I couldn't get my meter to replicate a broken signal when testing the dry joint though but I haven't seen the amigos for 3 months. I'm kinda missing them - I had a dream about them popping up on my bicycle computer the other night
