ABS extensions, dealing with excess length?

    All,

What has everyone done with the excess length of their ABS extension lines? The extension itself is long enough to run the length of the original.

    Thanks

I just coiled them up on the chassis in a safe spot and cable tied them in position.

And just left enough excess to allow for the extra travel?

Can the factory abs handle 3 inch of lift?

Depends more on how far the suspension drops, but I doubt very much for 3" at the rear. You'll probably be able to pull enough through on the front.

Yep, loose cable tied to the brake line to keep it off the wheel

So I ended up Looping the original at the lower clip and fitted the join between the two clips on the hose and tied the loose cable up, then the excess is looped up at the top tucked into the area at the chassis but as it drops it can pull free if needed. Given time I'll make some elasticised bits to pull it up out of the way but allow it to pull.

If you just clip in onto your brake lines per the standard setup it will keep them tidy and away from moving parts. Its a very factory setup and uncomplicated.
