    Lights on the bar.

    Evening (I spose) all.
    So, driving lights time.
Question 1: Is there any issue with driving lights restricting airflow to the radiator?
Obviously there will be some, but I'm only looking at putting 2 spotties on.
Not enough to be an issue?
Question 2: Dad has a pair of Hella fog lights from his SIIa, and the idea is to put them on mine.
Any suggestions for mounting a pair of mid sized fog lights on the ARB winch bar?
I know the D2a bar had the holes for the factory ones, but being a standard D2 mine won't.
They're also bigger than the factory ones.
Obviously, the lower the better for fog lights, but I don't want them being knocked off when I hit the tracks.
    Cheers

I've been running for a few weeks without the grille in and by comparison around town would run at 96.7 and creep to 98 sitting still. On the highway would run at around 94.

Without grille in town runs around 93 and sitting 94.7, highway 91.7 all day every day.

Last Sunday went out for the day, running down to Mittagong external temp <13deg, down the freeway, off road, idling, low range running all day (probably around 8-10deg) sat on 93 the whole time.

While experimenting without the grille, did a run out to Penrith with the grill and then back with two pieces of cardboard taped on and it ran 3 deg higher on the way back.

I think I might slice up my grill to make my own Saudi style one, use some security mesh like they use on screen doors.
IMHO the front grill is the second worst bit on the Disco, second only to the stock plastic bumper

I'll throw up a picture tomorrow but that is what I did a couple of years ago. Temps are a few degrees lower all round.

Get some mesh thats a bit more open than security mesh. The specs for it usually detail the open area as a %. There's one thats around 79% open but still should stop as much as the std grille.

Or get a hole saw and drill out the factory grill in a tidy pattern..
