    Smile A Great Lighting Upgrade for a D2!

    This $15 modification I made to my D2 works really great.

    Now I don't have to pull over at night or be distracted by the passenger putting the overhead light on to read directions/map or find something in console or fell on the floor.

    I fitted a Touch - Multi Led Battery light designed for under Kitchen cabinets without the need for mains wiring. I placed it under the centre console where you cannot see it from the seated position. Velcro pads so no drilling.

    All you do is reach under and tap it. It lights up the centre console and the lap of the driver and passenger really well without noticing when driving!.

    Thanks. Mitre 10! Took a few weeks of looking once I had the idea. I took the width measurement and found this one which is spot on!. The Brand is Osram. it takes 3 x aaa batteries and slides off, so could be a torch too.

    I used the 3M picture velcro tabs instead of the ones which come with the lightt as they are stronger and will take the vibration of driving and cope temp changes etc.
