Yes, King Springs with Terra Firma Shocks.
The Aim was to increase Ride height etc, but not open the door for any of the issues that are discovered with Big Lifts. That was why I ended up with 245's not 265's, I would have loved 265's but my reasoning won out.
Would look heaps better with 265/75/16s.......No offence meant...your car is what pleases you, not others in my belief....but it would still look better....

One positive of going the 245 is that I fit in the garage.....just. With 265's I don't think I would have.
Any tips on how to lower my rear bumper? Did a search but couldn't find any instructions.

The rear tyre is fowling on the bumper.
only need to drop it 10mm, at the moment it is not closing the easiest, and with kids jumping in and out to the rear seats I need to sort something out. For that amount of drop, figured this was easeier then messing with the carrier itself.

Thinking out of the box, could you not achieve a bit more space with a reduced tyre pressure in the spare, assuming you're carrying a inflator? :)
Loosen off the bolts that hold the bumper crush box and it should drop bit lower. That should be enough.
With an inverted carrier I carry a 285/75-16 at full pressure and I used to carry a 255/85-16 deflated.

For those interested about the fowling issue.
Back story is that during my last balance and rotate the destroyed one of my wheel nuts, so I was using it on the carrier and it wasn't done up tight just as a backup till I got some replacements.
Replacement arrived and now all 3 nuts are tight on the carrier and the fowling is now only slight and able to be lived with for the moment.
I have noticed the sluggish nature of the td5 with the larger Tyres (no chip) it is only slight,but confirms my decision of the 245's. Fuel economy seems to have dropped as well, but haven't finished the tank yet so will wait and see. All this is also probably related to going from H/T to a more aggressive A/T.
