Can't beat that, although was a complete mungrel of a job to do,

Dont forget if yours is pre 2002 to make sure the upper small hole is drilled for the engine oil cooler.:)

Also check your fan shroud screws are not to long for the hole.
Mine would have peirced the side tank on one side:(
Now fitted with flat washers:)

Im not to sure on this,
as from what research ive done im getting different stories.
The newer radiators are supposed to be a little different in the side tank, but suitable for all TD5.
Ive read a few posts where no hole has been drilled and blanked off at the oil cooler itself.
I found this post the most interesting, the only mod was a restrictive inlet at the fuel cooler
Comes to personal choice i suppose.
Please feel free to make suggestions / comments on this as i still haven't decided what to do with it. i fitted mine undrilled,

ok, heres a pic of my old rad, oil-cooler circuit in and straight back out to the fuel cooler, pretty much separate from the rest of the tank on that side.

The newer Radiators are one open circuit, outlet for the fuel cooler directly from the tank, and the oil-cooler outlet blanked.
so with an open outlet for the fuel cooler, a coolant flow reducer (PCS000010) is needed for the inlet of the fuel cooler, this is to restrict coolant flow so engine temp is reached quicker for the thermostat to open and run at normal operating temp.
Oil cooler coolant outlet can be blanked at the oil cooler.
Im not to sure about drilling the blanked spigot and hooking up the oil-cooler to it, as said the old vs new side tanks are different, new one are open circuit and can change flow pressures, i'd want more pressure flowing to the water pump, another reason for the flow restricter at the fuel cooler to i suppose.

The G&M aftermarket Radiator is designed for both EU 2 and EU 3 engines the restrictor to the fuel cooler is already there. :)

When I fited mine(bought through here) I drilled the cooler spigot.
I blew through my outlets and they definatly wern't part of the main radiator.
My lower spigots apear to use the area below the large lower outlet separate to the main radiator section.
