    Air Con Diagnostics

My air conditioning appears to have given up the ghost. I've got no sign of a leak anywhere on the piping that I can see. The engine revs rise and fall a bit when the 'econ' button is pressed but when I look at the compressor I don't see any movement to do with a clutch engaging - first question is should there be any visible movement when the compressor clutch engages?

Secondly, what's the easiest way to diagnose the problem?

If it's nothing simple can anyone recommend an air con specialist in Perth?

    Cheers

If the compressor isn't turning, you probably need an auto electrician rather than a air con specialist. Check the connections and fuse (if there is one??). Note to self: must load RAVE onto new computer.

Just swapped the relay with driving light relay and hey presto it's all working again, the driving lights are also working with the old aircon relay, so it must have been a marginal spade connection originally....
