Low Coolant warning
Hello All, I have been advised that fitting a "low coolant warning buzzer "would be a good idea. Has anyone any information on doing this?

Plenty of info on this. Do a search on 'engine saver' or 'madman ems'
Both are vendors here im led to believe.

Click on the "shop" link at the top and you can purchase one from Dave (aulro.com site owner/admin) Here.
From my understanding there are several models and types onthe market. Another option is the EMS made by Madman. This one. And this one purchased from an Aussie supplier.
There are quite a few threads on this forum and just on the web more generally that outline why you'd want to fit one of these and how to do so. I haven't the time right now to compile any links sorry. Maybe tonight.

Hi
Several available. Search for coolant level or CLD and they will all come up. Search EMS, madman, look in Daves interesting things. I think some appear in the banner adds too.
They can be electronic or physical. Simple ones are a flot switch in the coolant tank.

Just fitted the Engine Saver low coolant alarm purchased from Dave's IT site accessed from this Aulro site. Good thing about Daves IT site is that profits go to AULRO site - or so i read. Easy install, took maybe 1.5 hours. Only issue was i wasn't careful enough when unscrewing the bleed valve on the top radiator hose. Threaded grommet detached and had to replace the whole hose. Doubled the cost of the install. Works a treat though.

I bought one recently from Daves, great to deal with, sent promptly, easy to understand instructions, and straight forward to fit for anyone with a few basic tools.

The TM-2 Combo unit does coolant level and CHT combined into the one display/alarm unit.
Great bit of kit if you can source one.

Yes, a great piece of kit. You can also wire it up to your oil pressure switch and it will give an audible alarm when the oil pressure is low. Bit annoying on start up though.

Robbo.
