What else to do while the exhaust manifold is off?

Time to do this exhaust manifold as I am so over the whistle and loss of power.

Manifold will be coming off. Outer holes widened, webbing removed, skimmed and then a ceramic coating done.

While it's off however what should I look at doing over that side?

    Cheers

If you have or havn't blanked out the EGR, the EGR blanking plate on the exhaust manifold side might be an opion for an EGT proble instead of having to drill.

The small coolant hose below the manifold can become brittle from heat, check it out

EGR has already been blanked off. And the small hose was done in 2009 on the way back from the Cape (Thanks Dave!!). I might redo it anyway and look at some sort of heat protection for it.

    New waterpump maybe ?

Maybe that is where my mystery oil leak is coming from over on that side. Will take a gander at it. Thanks :-)
