Question TD5 Engine oil leaking through bolt hole in bell housing

I just removed the two long bolts about 1/3rd of the way up each side of the bellhousing and the shaft and threads of the bolts are covered in engine oil and there is a slow drip coming out of the bolt hole. Is this a sign of a worn crank shaft seal or?

More than likely the sump bolts, if they are the bottom 4?
Was it leaking before you removed the bolts?

It's a Land Rover, so yes, there has always been an oil leak (not sure were though as it wasn't bad enough to warrant my attention).

But once I removed the two long bolts from the bellhousing it poured out at a fair rate.

Change the sump gasket, should stop the leak
