Instrument cluster acting up
Ok i have done a search for this and didnt realy find anything, the other day Deb told me the fuel gauge had dropped from 3/4 to empty and the light came on ???? i checked the wire connections at the fuel pump and all seemed good, i turned the ignition on and it went to 3/4 i thought it must have been a dirty connection, i turned it off then back on and it only went ot 1/4 after a little bit went to 1/2
i checked the pump wireing again but it wouldnt go past 1/2, now yesterday Deb told me that some of the lights are not working on the dash IE hill descent, traction control (yes the three amigos) but only the ABS is lighting up, the fuel gauge was going between 1/4, empty and 1/2, the gear display is not showing, she says the temp gauge seems ok and taco is fine. Any ideas on this people i do know with some trucks and machinery if the alternator is about to pack it in some similar things can happen but usualy the taco is the first indicator. I have hooked up the Nanocom but no good it doesnt tell me anything, its a little fustrating to say the least so some ideas for me to check would be great.
Oh i also took the ECU out and checked it and no oil all good with this one

Electrical connector or volt reg
It sounds like a faulty connector, earth or perhaps , if there is one for the instrument panel, a voltage reg playing up?
