So I read your response and thought in the interest of fairness I would go back again and see what responses you had received.

You got "looks wrong to me" and "those 995s are only for a 40mm lift"

Both observations, and both pretty much opinion and no actual fact

I then posted regarding the shock construction TODAY...

Others commented with a way to test....TODA

So up until TODAY... You had no serious bloody information that was of any bloody benefit...

And whats worse, is some bar-steward broke in and stole your SENSE OF HUMOR....

Notice that the date of the thread is afternoon on Saturday 6 October 2012. So Andrew would not have been at work for another day and a half to contact. Correct, he wouldn't. Now, consider that the bulk of the useful responses Care to point out one that was based on a fact? You got 1 opinion and 1 observation. BEFORE TODAY(I use the term useful as some of the observations provided today are irrelevant to the threads topic) came in that day or the following day (Sunday). So basically, I had some confirmation a lot quicker than waiting until Monday. In this case my "lost focus to technology" was beneficial in my opinion. No you didnt. You got an answer TODAY from - oh ****... ME Feel free to ignore my threads if they're causing you so much inconvenience. But please take your off topic thoughts else where, I recognise and appreciate your knowledge, and you have been very helpful in the past on numerous occasions (thank you again for this), but I don't much care for your "humorous observations of a modern world" when they in no way relate to the topic. Your welcome to have them, but put them in your own thread or someone else's that they relate to the topic of discussion.

Things like the fact that most people now Google everything etc.... Or (not you this time) people post a question on a forum that a Google search would answer in 10 seconds... Its amusing to observe. Undecided yet. As he points out theoretically it should be fine as the bump stop has been moved down equal to what the bottom of the shock absorber has been moved up.
We found another issue in that the extended watts linkage mount on the passenger side is connecting with one of the through bolts from the rear trailing arm to rear differential.
Andrew checked some other vehicles, and this bolt and nut are in backwards in my vehicle - a previous owner must have had the rear differential or trailing arm off as I haven't touched the bolt before.
So I need to turn this bolt and nut around and then test again - that's the plan for this weekend.
Andrew didn't have any SLS rear end D2's to check on in his work shop, he had four around with the kit installed, but they were all coil spring.
