    Folks

Needs some help. Need some photos of the tail gate again. Close-up detail of the lower corner of where either TD5 or V8 badge is on the right of the rear door (around the lower hinge) and also around the upper hinge.

Also need a shot of the lower hinge inside where there are two rivets on the lower hinge (mine currently has nil which is also wrong)

Mine has recently been repaired (panel beaters bless their cotton socks) but it is obviously bent (in both location).

I have called them and they have convinced themselves it's right otherwise the door will not function properly. I say good on them but I know they are wrong. (it's a pretty unscrupulous industry if you ask me and they must think people are stupid as I'm pretty sure I have caught them out on a side matter. I don't care I just want my car fixed).

I need some photos of various D2s and their rear doors to present to the panel beaters.

    Thanks for any assistance.

    Regards
    Andrew

Use MicroCat to find the part numbers. Then you can return to them with the correct part numbers and even a quote from your local dealer for supplying.

Online version is available at Microcat - Spare parts Land Rover catalogue in English

    Thanks Bee Utey

Love the webs. Where the V8 logo is the panel beater is convinced the door should be bent out and not following the curvature as per the left side (interesting logic as explained by the panel beater).

The door has also been hung on the ****. No gap on the upper left and massive gap on the upper right (finger gap).

TWR - Mate, I wish you were telling me something new. I have been hand feeding the panel beaters since May 2012 (Part number/prices and where to buy). I have also relayed it to my ever so helpful insurance company.

    Regards
    Andrew

Thanks, I'm across Microcat to the extent it's imprinted on my eyeballs. Still haven't found that part but it has miraculously appeared on my car from the panel beaters when he advised the door is a genuine part (but I know it's not one of the parts he has ordered............I smell something. This was number 1 in my list of suggesting something was awry)

    Regards
    Andrew
