    Advice Purchasing a Td5

I've just seen a Td5 Discovery for sale near my place:

Its a 2004 manual 5 seats for only $15K and its only done 110k Km. I really like these cars & don't mind that they rattle a bit.

To me this sounds a bit cheap compared to other ones I've seen out there. I like that its a manual for better fuel economy and just preference but I've been waiting for a Td5 with 7 seats.

Do you think this sounds like a good deal?

If I was interested in it I'd take it to a Land Rover specialist near mine to check it out before buying it.

    Thanks!

The MY04 were the best of the D2's.

Very important that you check out it's service history & also get it checked out by an independent LR specialist or it could cost you a lot.

Heaps of info here as well, search is your friend

    Good Luck

Um,it maybe one of the runout classics

thats a very midrange price Id still pick it to pieces and fight the price down though.

If its mechanicals passed me and its pretty passed the SWMBO for the Ks on it it might well be worth whats being asked.

    Thanks for the advice.... Its a 2004 03MY TD5.

I might take it for a test drive and just get a feel for it, although I did have my heart set on a 7 seater.
