If the A/C drains are blocked, water can build up in the dash.
1999 D2 TD5, I have a strange sloshing / water moving around type sound. I think it sounds like coming from the dash near the A/c unit.
I only hear it as I take off from standstill.Any ideas?
ALSO.
I have taken the fuel pump out to check the tank/ strainer.
I had a hellish time getting the black screw ring back on the opening. (Pushing down on the spring loaded pump)
Now today I smell diesel and find I have leakage after a fill up.
Is there something I am missing when it comes to refitting the pump assembly?. your comments would be welcome.
Regards Nick.

Thanks Scouse. At risk of sounding look a Nuff Nuff would you happen to know where these drains can be located?
I dont think the air is getting as cold as it should , so I expect I will have to get is gassed too.
I have (had, haven't heard it since the new stereo went in) the same thing. I'm guessing it's the AC drains, since the alternative is the head gasket going and there's none of the symptoms that go along with that, thankfully

Thanks Scouse. I have just Googled it and found out where they are. Cheers Nick
Get a good look at your coolant bottle and system I had that sound for some time found was loosing coolant (into rear cylinder) head gasket was gone, its a low flow of water in the heating system (mine was) would look into that first.
Sloshing noise or waterfall sounds from the back of the dash is coolant.
Either low due to leak or low with an airlock.
Checking your cooling system before you drive again!
Thanks to all of you .
It was low water in bottle.
If you are topping it up more then a few months it needs looking at further I let it go for too long and on a tour of tassie i did the head 7G repair bill water was leaking into rear head could find it till to late
