Thread: 2001 Alternator

Does anybody know the best way to remove the alternator from a Td5?

Hi have a look through Rave and follow the instructions. It's pretty easy just time consuming. Just remember to put a piece of thick cardboard in front f the radiator to protect it. You'll also need a t50 torx bit for the bottom alternator bolt. If you have the EU3 engine you'll need to remove the EGR cooler. Go careful as I broke the plastic coolant line.
