My 94 Soft Dash RR rode really hard with the SLS suspension compared to the two previous coil sprung rangies l had. Having said that, l now have a D2 with SLS, and replacing the 12 year old bags in the back has certainly made it ride softer.
l also tow a 17ft single axle van with a WDH with no problems (the SLS is very handy in this situation). The only problem l know of is the torsional forces are not good for the OE tow bar set up, better off with an after market job like a Hayman Reece.
And yes, l replaced two air bags in the time it would have taken to fit one coil spring.
