EGT Gauge Install
Just wanted to share my EGT probe and gauge installation.
After doing some research on gauges, I decided on a neat little unit from Auber Instruments, sorry to the local guys but this little gauge was just too good value? Less than $150 delivered! Paid extra $ for a 4m cable, green display and box.

After posting a few questions on the forum, John (JF1056) a local member, suggested I give him a call and he offered to help me out with the install. When I say help ... I actually mean ... do most of the work and supply all of the tools whilst I offer moral support and not much else.
So after a couple of hours the EGT probe is tapped into my new EGR blanking plate and the gauge is mounted in the cabin.

Up until a month ago, I didn't know John but he reminds me of what's great about this country and this forum ... wanting to help out another forum member with nothing in return ... knowing that when the time comes ... I'll be there to help him out!
During a test drive around town I struggled to get the temps above 500 degrees ... but I'm sure that with the 1.5t CT on the back, I can get those numbers up higher.
Thanks again John ... LEGEND!!!
