As some may have seen, Last week I snapped a rear axle.
I was told we had a spare out of a D1, which i was told would fit but she dont look the same.
What is the best axle to fit I have 33" with 4" lift?
can get a used one for $110 posted from WA or a full rear end for $650. in Vic
what fits the D2 and what is the best for it please.
Thanks all

Cool I was looking at them Les Richmond talk about them but dont list but only standard rears for 650 so thats pretty good.
I have a spare car so can pull a old one out but looking in at it with the big shoes it needs a better one.
but we all want to upgrade parts it the cost that hold us back for time
The Discovery 1 rear axle you have spare will not fit. They are totally different.
Thanks I am sure I was told d1 would fit or did I mix that up with the diff
Yep, diff centre will swap (assuming the D1 is 24 spline)
i should have the right rear cheese stick in the garage (broke my left rear) if interested. PM me if you want to discuss.
cheers
Make sure that you pull the diff out and check it too. The gears inside the diff may be damaged also.
Cheers
