    Angry IMMOBILISER 2000 TD5 Auto

When I swirched ignition on, the alarm sounded, lights flashed and all electrics went dead.

Battery shows 12.5 volts on multi meter, have no lights on instrument panel...no clocks or other noises from starter motor. Car is DEAD!

Any one got some clues as to where I start to find out what is wrong and how to fix it.

There is no L/R Dealer in my closest town.

Close and lock all the doors, then try again

    Thanks Tombie and Sidders.

All fixed...FOB was OK, did the lock the doors and start all over again proceedure, that did a partial cure and then found that the negative battery lead was a little corroded at the battery post. Cleaned that al up nice and shiny and the car is back in action again. I did carry out the "fix" as noted in the workshop manual, i.e. leave ignition on for 5 minutes to reset the security system computer...that may have helped in the cure as well

    Thanks guys!
