    Acrylic Headlight Protectors

I need to replace one of the headlight protectors on the D2! I see that the Brits are selling them for $150 a set which seems a bit steep to me.

Does anyone know where to get the plastic/acrylic headlight protectors for a D2 in Oz?

I haven't tried the usual suspects yet (Supercheap/Autobarn etc) but thought someone may have gone through the exercise recently and be able to point me in the right direction.

    Cheers

I got mine from British Off Road - The Land Rover spare parts specialists - Contact Us and had them posted to me. I'd have to dig thru all my invoices to get the cost but I'm sure they can tell you all that.

I bought some from Rimmer Bros UK. Genuine LR and nicely Branded. 60 pounds pair. My folks brought them over when they visited but they are so light Rimmer can quote for postage.

Amazing.. When you open the packaging they are Made in Australia by a Plastics Company in Western Sydney!

Pre 2003 Models part number STC50064

I have brought two sets from the Local dealer here in Cairns and I think they were only $90 a pair - at that price and the cost of repalcement head lamps, I didn't bother looking anywhere else.

(also, I have found the local dealer is cheaper (and has filters in stock) than SuperCheap and Autobarn)

    STC50064 supercedes to RAA502 & list price is $56.06. For $90 a set, that's some mark up.

Land Rover have 61 sets in their Melbourne warehouse.
