Hi,
I'm on the road about an hour from home and have just lost all of the ace fluid! Can anyone please let me know if I will cause heaps of damage if I drive it home? Should I get it towed?
Cheers

Pulling the fuse isn't enough. The ACE pump runs off the accessory belt and will be running dry regardless of pulled fuses.
I'd recommend getting it put on a flat tray truck if you can. There is a good chance you'll wreck the ACE pump otherwise. At $800 for a new one, plus installation and repair of any collateral damage I'd be avoiding that if at all possible.
The only way you should drive is if you can find a shorter accessory belt so you can bypass the ACE pump, you need to also pull the fuse if you do that.
Thanks for the quick responses guys, racv have a tow truck on the way. Purchased racv total care when I bought the Discothought its not worth risking damage to the pump!
Thank you onebob and offtrack!
I carried a 8PK1560 trimmed to 7PK1560 to bypass the ACE pump on my TD5 in case of such emergencies.
