    Instrument lights

    Hi all,

Need to do the dash lights - fuel etc and HVAC (Climate Control) unit bulbs.

I was thinking of going blue to match my new stereo head unit (and my scanguage II goes blue too...).

Has anyone tried these for the instruments 10 Land Rover Blue BRIGHT 12V LED Wedge Instrument Panel Light Bulb Lamp 70 NOS | eBay

I was thinking that the because the HVAC bulbs are green painted, I could get blue or blue LED ones...I am on the scrounge.

EDIT - OK here they are it seems - HVAC in a variety of colours...

4x Neo Wedge LED Bulbs T3 T4 T5 White Blue Red Green | eBay

AND here is the thread that put me onto the neo wedge LEDS -

Not illuminating anymore? - Land Rover Zone

It appears that these neo wedge led's would only fit the side lights - ie up and down temp rocker switches....does anyone have the light type for the LED and bottom buttons (small buttons) so I can search out the LED or otherwise Blue equivalent.

EDIT - these appear to the be ones for the LED screen - there are three of them and they plug into the screw in base http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/12v-1-2w-...#ht_1308wt_948

    Cheers
PS. The clock might be he problems...cant seem to find any blue bulbs and the one in it appears to be white, so the clock might have a green film? I assume the odo display is just a stock light?

OR....You could just let all the hard work be done for you... http://www.ultimatemods.co.uk/landro...led-bulbs.html

Ok pulled the 3 lcd bulbs from the back of the HVAC head unit then took off the green hoodie from one and put it back in and colour of the screen was then a white/orange... So is there some coloured plastic in there that might cause trouble for Blue bulbs? I might give it a shot and see... Stay tuned...

    Cheers
