    Equipe 4x4 bar for D2

Has anyone seen an Equipe tube bar for the D2?

I was sure I saw one online somewhere, but the Australian dealer says there isn't one.

Only thing is maybe it was a D1 that I saw it on.

You're not confusing it with the xrox (tubular) bar??

No, it was definately an Equipe, but Xrox will be my 2nd choice.

Landrover Tuning :: Home aka "equipe 4x4"

They list a UK made, non-ADR approved bar for the D1.

First Four list a D2 version of the same bumper, but again these are non-ADR approved so will be "for off road use only" in Aus.

Thanks, that is exactly the info I was after. I had spoken to Landrovertuming and they had said they didn't have one for the D2. It's a pity, I would have preferred to buy local than from overseas.

What makes you think the D1 shadow bar is non ADR approved. It doesn't say anything about that on the Landrover Tuning site, does it?

None of the UK made aftermarket bars imported into Australia have ADR approval as far as I know. People fit them regardless but that puts them in a dubious legal situation if they need to claim on insurance. I'd love to be proved wrong on this as it would open up the options for bars.

If you want to know the definitive answer ask Landrovertuning. I wouldn't be basing my purchasing choices on what they put up on the website.
