Thread: O2 Sensor Removal & Refit

I am seeking advice regarding the removal & refit of O2 sensors, D2 V8.
I have read RAVE (19.22.16) sounds simple, 'release multi-clip' --- disconnect multi-plug.
1st - how is the multi-clip released?
2nd - disconnect multi-plug.

I have car on ramps, but cannot access RHS clip & difficulty getting too sensor. LHS a little better.

Tips on doing this would be appreciated

With great difficultly is the answer, I think the plugs are clipped to engine block clips with a simple hook over. I think I pushed up with a socket extension barand they popped off, I may have actually unnbolted the passenger side clip, it's been a while.

It can be done, I did it and neither one broke, I remember losing a bit of skin and cursing them to the inner ring of hell though.
