Hey, there is a problem with the mount on the rear companion tank that will crack the chassis and cause that tank to fall out. The rear crossmember that it mounts to wasn't designed for loads and it cracks around the main chassis rail until it snaps. This is because that member goes into the sidewall of the chassis and not the top and bottom plates of the chassis. To fix this you will need to remove the rear bumper and weld the inside of the chassis so that the forces the area by mking the forces go from the top of the crossmember into the top of the chassis rail. Its not a big or difficult weld, just a bit tight. You must do this and when I spoke to LRA about it they really didn't want to know about it. I've got sill tank to install also, but thats still sitting in the garage as it has been for the last 7 years.Quote:
