Factory offset is +57mm.
Dynamic steel rims are +30mm.
A number of alloy wheels can be machined to suit the D2 as well.
I have 18x9 alloys machined to +32mm offset to use on mine.
Does anyone know what the rim offset is on the factory D2 rim?
I would like to get some rims with more offset so they give a wider track and will fit wider tyres. I just need to work out what to ask for.
I know that these rims are available in steel rims but has anyone seen them as an alloy?

You could get Bulldog adaptors from England. They are legal in England and Europe but not here in Oz.
The adaptors put factory wheels at a +30 offset and bolt to the original studs like a spacer, but they also have a centre spigot to retain proper wheel fitment unlike a spacer which does not.
Porsche and some other cars have these as standard fitment on some models here in Oz, so whilst illegal, are not actually unsafe.
Some time ago I did talk to my local DOT examiner who said outright spacers were out but adaptors may be considered, so who knows?
Just a thought.
cheers

Thanks all. I reckon the Zu rims look pretty good, especially in Anthrocite. The 16x8 should suit me. While they are very expensive out here, they are not too bad in price direct from UK.
Oh yeah....love those Zu rims.....can see some on mine eventually![]()
