Any chance of you posting a photo of your tigerz rack fitted? I'd love to see how high it sits, especially above the rails.

    Cheap D2 roof racks

Check out http://www.flickr.com/photos/jstride...7632985932956/ there are a few examples there. I'm over East at the moment but will take some more on Friday.

I have a spade underneath at the back and my led light bar sits nicely under the front. Thinking of max trax and hilift under the front.

Putting aside the cost of the rack it's the shipping that is crazy, yes I had
to screw the legs on but your shipping is not that different to what we paid to
ship an entire car from the UK to Australia. And almost 4 times the cost of my
roof rack coming by rail from Melbourne.
I know I know. But there is this thing in WA called a mining boom. We were even thinking of buying an old van , filling it with roof racks and sending it to Perth as it is only $1400, but then we would have to get it back and the transport companies will not let you put anything in it.
All the courier companies HATE anything over 50Kg or bigger in length than 2 metres.
Even with the Kings Ransom we pay them they regularly stuff up and often call saying we don't want your business.
They somehow destroyed 2 racks recently in Melbourne then the TNT Insurance guy told us they didn't want our big stuff. I pointed out that the ones they broke were the smallest ones and well within their guidelines.
Sheeeesh.( maybe I am ****ty because they lost one today)
    Regards Philip A

No I totally agree - shipping over here is the killer. Remember not all of us in WA benefit from the mining boom!

They are L shaped with a support strut in the back so you'd need somebody who can weld some new lugs on for the bolts. A better option might be to extend the shorter legs you get with them. It's on my to do list to investigate other options for them but I'll post some better pics on Friday and perhaps some ideas will pop up on the forum!

Here is another option if looking at racks from Tigerz11, although the quality of the rack is pretty ordinary.

I fitted their roof rail rack with rail mounts I modified to suit.

That's a good idea. I'm going to check the shorter legs when I get back and see if I could use spacers.

Anyone know how long it takes Tigerz to reply to emails? Asked for shipping price on combo deals. Nothing.
