I used a couple of car ramps and got the car on them at the front. That was enough room to get under the car.

ED, mine looks very similar. I just had it serviced last week in Canberra and specifically mentioned to check the oil leak. Anyhow, I made it back to Echuca OK. The leak is so profuse it sprays the trailer. In particular, I have those drops forming on the transfer case inspection plate bolts like you do. I think if it were diesel it would evaporate after being in the hot sun. It feels thicker than diesel. I was thinking it came from the transfer case. Lying on my back with oil dripping into my eyes makes it hard to do much. The TC filler plug looks difficult to access, and once removed I'm not sure how to check fluid levels. I note from the manual that it holds 8 pints. Lets know how you get on. Meanwhile, can anyone recommend a good mechanic in either Melbourne or the North Country region?

i dont think it is the fuel pressure reg, is engine oil im pretty sure. looks to be behind oil filter/ rocker cover gasket just above there. is a hard spot to really see well though.
i think it is the input shaft seal leaking on my transfer case. i think it needs to just dribble out of the filler plug if it is the right level. i got to mine with a half inch drive extension and used my feet on the ratchet. was tricky but you will have no hassles with good hands getting to it. getting the fluid in was harder as i dont have the pump thing designed for the job haha

slowly narrowing down the oil leaks.
one is this, easy to get to at least.

and the rest well, it had a super good clean/degrease. driven 3 times since, just short distance about 25kms round trip. it doesnt look to be the oil filter, it seems to be somwhere behind it. if anybody can shed some light on what this might be and how i can start to fix it, please help LOL. it is progressively getting worse.

and transferbox leaking both trans oil and diff oil LOL. yay!!!! the trans fluid leak faster than the diff oil one.

Front cam seal is easy, less than 5 minutes, pop out, clean and install new

The oil filter housing could be leaking from behind?, bit hard to see

When you remove you exhaust manifold to fix your broken studs you will have a clearer picture.

The trans will be leaking from the output shaft and the transfer will be leaking from the input shaft or the intermediate shaft, either way the transfer has to come out for a reseal.
