Thanks for the update.

I checked the earth and had the light working before I refitted the console. Nothing worked after I had refitted the console.

I'll check fuse 15 and have another look at the light.

If this does not work I'm thinking about replacing the socket. Will I need a Land Rover replacement or will any generic socket do?

Yay, Fuse 15 it was.

Thanks for all the help. It looks like I'll have to get a Gregory manual.
