    Which rear hub?

Hi all. I have to replace the left rear hub ASAP, and found this link:

Considering that I'm on a tight budget, can I have your thoughts on the Bearmach unit? Can I reasonably expect 100k out of it, for instance?

    Thanks
    Regards, Will

I would only fit one with Timken bearings, Paddock have an oem (No mention of any brand name) one for £185, while Island 4x4 have the Timken for £200.

But it also depends on how your Disco gets used, short distance sealed roads with a light load cheap will probably be ok, anything more go quality.

FWIW a lot of Bearmach parts are OEM in a Bearmach box.

I can't say the hub is, but a fair bit of their gear is very good quality IME.

You could try Karcraft if you need one urgently. They list the part number.

Don't know about the bearings in the hub. Mine never failed. However, I did three sets of seals that required bearing pack replacement.

That particular axle was never happy after Savoury Creek on the Canning.
