RCA jacks in wiring from CD stacker to head unit?

    Hi,

Planning on interrupting the audio feed from the 6 stacker CD unit under the driver's seat for a switchable iPod feed. It has been suggested that in the cable path up to the head unit in the dash there may be inline RCA's. This would make for a neater install if it is true. Has anyone seen such a thing in their D2?
    TIA

The factory wiring doesn't have RCA's. Everything terminates in ISO standard plugs.

The information attached should help you work out whats what.

UPDATE: Searched a wrecked D2 today. No RCA's, only a 13 pin round DIN connector at the stacker end of the cable. Still, better than nothing.

RCA jacks in wiring from CD stacker to head unit?

I bought a Bluetooth/iPod/iPhone module for my D2a that plugs into the cd jack at the back of the stereo.

Brilliant product, gives me music and hands free phone, plus does Bluetooth music streaming. And the cable charges the phone/iPod as well.

The bookmark is on my work PC, can't remember the company name at the moment, but will find it and post it up.
