    Replaceing The Radio Cd Player

    Hi All
I am thinking of replacing the Radio in the Disco. It has a Vistron Radio single cd unit in it at present the connections at the rear look like the are ISO plugs
Can i fit any radio with similar plugs to the Disco without cutting wires and so on.

    Regards
    Doug

The short answer is, probably, but depends. As far as plugs go, yes. The head unit will work but the steering wheel controls won't. Also the head unit itself may be more of a problem if it won't take the rubber 'finger' at the rear of the unit. See my post of today in the thread: "What pin connections on OEM radio?" for pictures and more info.

Just need to get an adapter harness for ISO > Head unit brand.
Relatively simple job, I had to scrabble around in a box of screws for the rubber finger, a good thump onto position stops it from rattling out of the dash on tracks
