    fault codes 00 v8

hi guys, i got my scangauge2 today and i was just out "playing" with it and ive found its got 2 fault codes showing...

PO154 Lambda sensor upstream catalyst bank 2 Drive cycle C:Signal missing.

PO600 CAN Interface timeout Transmission Control Module Drive cycle A:Signal missing

now i have no idea what so ever what either of these mean, also im not sure if these were before or after i took my car to get chipped at davis performance landys... as he did reconnect 2 oxygen sensors and replace the air flow meter

i would assume that he would have reset it before it left the shop so i would "guess" that these are new codes
i must stress im totally outa my zone when it comes to all this so my guesses and assumptions are more then likely wrong

but if any one knows what they mean i will be very appreciative
    cheers dan

Lambda sensor is the oxygen sensor and considering you didn't have it makes sense.

The faults are possibly pre-existing so the best thing to do is clear the faults and see if they return. If they come back then you need to start looking at them.

I've attached the LR diagnostics for these faults.
The "&!" are supposed to be "Ω" symbols.

Pages 18-2-53 and 18-2-54 RAVE includes a description of what the Drive Cycles are.

The European On-Board Diagnostics Workbook pdf on the D2 RAVE CD has a listing of every P code applicable to the D2 V8 and the LR specific meaning of those codes where applicable.

Thanks mate, Bruce said the 02 sensors were 100% so I will wait and see if they throw a code again, I went for a drive to the pool yesterday and checked when I got there it was fine also when I got home it was fine again, my guess is it was stored from when he was chipping it, mabey after he cleared them he started the car again and they stored and he didn't hook up his computer again

Thanks heaps for the help guys I'm a little (a lot) outa my comfort zone when it comes to fault codes and what not.... I'm slowly learning little by little

    Cheers again

I hope they do or someone's done a bang up job of adding them to mine including the wiring.

The upstream is pre cat, bank 2 is LH. Won't have down stream, NAS spec only.

In the Davis Chip thread Dan mentioned his pre-cat sensors were either not there, removed or not plugged in. Can't recall exactly but consider this, it would provide some justifcation for the fault.

He has since had them reinstated.
