    Quick release oil cooler fittings

Is there any alternative to the quick connect fittings on the engine and transmission coolers?

They seem like a very poor design and after changing my radiator on the weekend, a couple of the fittings will not go back on and I have no faith in the other 2.

I have had the Disco towed to Glen at Roverland today and hopefully he will get time to fix it this week but I think he was talking about replacing all the hoses and pipe work. I was hoping someone had come up with a way of just fitting new connectors.

    Thanks,

    Adam

I think the standard fix is new lines. Brace yourself for the cost. I'm not sure if you can just buy fittings. Pirtek might have a fitting with a barbed hose end.

I recently paid $179 for the LH trans cooler line/hose from Ulr . Looked at uk but freight was too expensive for this item only.
