That was something I had thought of but wasn't too sure the symptoms fit.
That might make good sense as it's quite noticeable on acceleration from a standing start.
Assuming that it is a broken bolt, that means it needs to come out which means expensive workshop time :censored:
Do I need to do the whole de-web and enlarged bolt holes, as it's not chipped and not likely to be as my insurance premium is going to be high enough for the next 6 years :wallbash:

If it is the exaust manifold bolts the manifold will probably warped The best bet would be to do the exchange and replace all the studs--I bought the studs from England and bought nuts to suit--handed that to the LR mechanic---then picked the car up later!!!! the previous time it happened I was told that they replaced the broken studs and all is fixed--6 months later--same again!! So get to know your LR mechanic and talk him through what you need and expect:D

Checked the manifold today, all looks okay. No sign of soot anywhere.
Also had a closer look at the hubs, they look brand spankers.
Although the staked nuts are hardly what I'd call staked. Mildly dented perhaps.
